Leon Marais is an independent customs consultant. His services include providing information about all aspects of importing into and exporting from South Africa.
Our clients range from:
multinational import and export companies, small businesses, and publishers of South African import and export legislation.
We also work with customs house brokers (clearing and forwarding agents), mostly service providers to importers and exporters.
Before setting up his own company in 1996, the founder of the company, Leon Marais was an Assistant Director at the South African Customs Department.
Leon, his wife, Colleen and their two sons, Louw and Maricus, live in Hopetown in the Northern Cape Province of the Republic of South Africa.
